Together they march, in the cold and rain, with banners, megaphones and flags. Their voices ring throughout the city streets as they exercise their First Amendment rights.
They share a belief that corporate greed is not just a term used by the impoverished as a crutch, but a truth that has been overlooked for years… until now.
Cincinnati has joined the Occupy movement. Participants such as Rigel Behrens, Amber Jackson and Nathan Lane have been working around the clock to educate the public about the burden of the less fortunate, the “99 percent.” They are excited about focusing attention on social issues that are important not only to them, but — they believe — to the world. They say their work is just beginning.
